A Mental Health Support Circle for Pakistani Women
Introducing “Healing Halaqah – your safe space” – a place for Muslim women to come together, reflect, and thrive.
Through heartfelt conversations, spiritual reminders, and emotional support, we hold space for one another as we navigate life’s struggles as Desi Muslim women – from anxiety and burnout, to spiritual disconnection and self-doubt, to marital woes and motherhood struggles. This is your safe space to come as you are. We’ll meet you there.
Based in the Twin Cities (Islamabad & Rawalpindi), Pakistan. Onsite Only. Registration Required.

Our conversations center around the common struggles of Desi Muslim women, particularly those in their 20s and 30s:
🌸 Emotional & Mental Health
- Anxiety, depression, and chronic stress
- People-pleasing and lack of boundaries
- Guilt around prioritizing self-care
- Low self-worth or self-doubt
- Pressure to stay silent have “Sabr” through oppression
💍 Relationships & Marriage
- Struggles with in-laws and joint family dynamics
- Pressure to get married by a certain age
- Feeling emotionally neglected in marriage
- Navigating toxic or emotionally abusive relationships
- Divorce stigma or fear of seeking separation
🧕 Identity & Faith
- Guilt or confusion about religious practices
- Feeling disconnected from Allah (swt) or Islam
- Internal conflict between cultural expectations and personal faith
- Shame around past mistakes or trauma
- Struggles with Hijab, modesty, or spiritual consistency

- Burnout from managing multiple roles (wife, mom, daughter, and/or professional)
- Lack of support as a mother or homemaker
- Constant pressure to be the “perfect” Muslim woman
- Suppressed dreams or ambitions due to family obligations

- Grieving the death of a parent, spouse, child, or loved one
- Unspoken grief over miscarriage, infertility, or delayed motherhood
- Loss of identity after marriage, motherhood, or a major life change
- Emotional grief from heartbreak, betrayal, or divorce
- Mourning the loss of personal dreams, freedom, or opportunities due to cultural/family expectations
- Feeling isolated in grief due to lack of safe, compassionate spaces to process pain
- Pressure to appear strong while silently struggling with long-term sadness or trauma
