MEET YOUR COACH
I’m Khadija, a certified life coach and Islamic counselor, currently also training to be a mindfulness practitioner, Alhumdulillah.
I got married when I was 21 years old. Still had a year left of my undergrad, which I completed while living with my in-laws. Graduated with a gold medal, Alhumdulillah, which I’m really proud of because Allah (swt) and I alone know the struggle it took to achieve it.
I had my first daughter soon after graduating. Completed my training and certification to be a life coach before her first birthday. Opened my own website and heart-centered life coaching services soon after. Continued to live in a joint family system for 5 years. Had my second daughter and there was a cancer diagnosis in the family before her 2nd birthday.
Why do I share all of this with you?
Because if I say I know a thing or two…
- about time management,
- about how not to lose yourself to your roles,
- about how to stay mentally strong and resilient no matter how much people tear you down,
- about keeping your relationship with Allah (swt) at the center of your marriage,
- about priortizing and juggling and managing,
- about asserting your boundaries, and
- about doing it all in a way that leaves you with a clear conscience and a faithful heart –
I mean it.
And I don’t want you to have to learn the hard way, if you can find it in you to reach out and seek help instead.
I wish I had this help when I was struggling as a newlywed, but finding someone whose values align with yours, who also has the psychological and spiritual knowledge to help you as only a Muslim woman can for another – this is truly rare.
What Previous Participants Have Said…
I learned a lot more than I expected or hoped to…
“I had been considering getting married and realized I had issues that affected my ability to form and develop healthy relationships and I knew I needed professional help in dealing them, this program dealt with both of those aspects which is why I thought it would be a great start towards my healing journey. I learned a lot more through the lessons and group coaching sessions than I had expected or hoped to. The valuable insights shared by Khadija were definitely the icing on the cake.” — M.S. (India)
Such a well thought-out and tugs-at-your-heartstrings program…
“There were so many gems shared, and I hope we can practice compassion little by little by knowing it’s ok when we falter (many times) throughout this work, and to continue showing up for ourselves in our capacities. Jazaki Allah khair again Khadija for such a well thought out and tugs-at-your-heartstrings program.” — B.A. (USA)
I learned so much about myself and finding the right spouse…
“This program helped me learn so much about myself which ultimately has set me up for success for finding a spouse. It has also provided a network of amazing girls that I know I can speak to while I embark on this chapter of my life. The best part was whenever anybody shared experiences and stories, it really helped me resonate with others. One of the most eye opening things for me taught in the course was attachment styles because it explained a lot about not only my personality, but also others in my family. It helped me better understand them as it was always difficult for me to understand why they acted the way they did (and why I acted the way I do).” — A.Q. (Canada)
Even a year later, the lessons have helped me navigate my relationships…
“I never realised the power our faith and mental health had in our lives until I took this course. I never thought that even a year after it’s ended, the lessons would stick to me and help me navigate my relationships. Learning was a lot and so was the fun of learning as a group. I’m happy my focus went from problems to solutions. By knowing about myself, I unlocked better potential in showing up as a partner as well. Thank you for being a source of safe place and improvement in my life! I would recommend this to anyone who wants to find the right balance between their rights and responsibilities and live life mindfully with faith. 🤍” — H.K. (Pakistan)
